This client builds content strategy and industry-leading creative that delivers results for some of the world’s biggest brands. They work across many sectors, from technology to retail, automotive to entertainment. They create, build and deliver content in multiple channels including digital, video, print and social.

About the role

The Producer is fundamental in delivering world-class content. Spanning film, photography, animation and best in class production is the cornerstone of this exciting role.

Below is a non-exhaustive list of the key responsibilities and necessary skills you will be expected to deliver and demonstrate within your capacity as Producer.

Pre-Production Responsibilities 

  • Attend creative brainstorms and steer the team/idea to ensure what is pitched to the client is feasible from a budget, legal and time POV
  • Prepare comprehensive budgets including all third party and expenses for Pre, Production and Post for Account and Project Management
  • Work with the creative team to locate and book the very best suppliers/contributors, staying within allocated budget
  • Be the conduit between the internal team and external talent during the development process
  • Manage and deliver all legal and contractual shoot requirements including but not limited to commissioning forms, talent release, usage rights, risk assessments, insurance forms, scope of work etc
  • Assist team with location hunting, talent sourcing, wardrobe support, route planning and all other shoot-related logistics
  • Prepare scope of work documents, production schedules and call sheets and circulate to all stakeholders well ahead of shoot

Production responsibilities 

  • Attend local and international shoots and recces as and when required, some of which will fall over weekends and outside of regular office hours
  • Work with internal team and external suppliers (photographers, directors, production companies etc.) to ensure delivery on what has been agreed in pre-production process
  • Ensure key stakeholders (internal and external) are aware of and delivering to upcoming key project deadlines
  • Keep Account Management abreast of any potential deadline extension requirements (client or internal/supplier) as well as any budget concerns well in advance of overspend

Post responsibilities 

  • Book editors and all post production personnel
  • Manage post production timeline and deliverables within budget and according to schedule
  • Support creatives as and where required in management of all post suppliers (edit, grade, sound etc.)
  • Receive, manage and execute client feedback with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring within scope of work and budget and highlighting discrepancies with Account Management where necessary
  • Upon completion of each shoot/project, log the talent/contribs and all rights held for each project
  • Arrange the secure upload/delivery of final assets to client, as well as file and store of final output.

General Responsibilities

  • Keep a running status report of all live and potential projects that can be accessed by all internal stakeholders
  • Create, maintain and expand the global black book of contacts for still and moving content production with the ability to upscale/downscale as required, i.e. DOPS, self-shooters, talent agencies, SFX, VFX, animators, graders, fixers, production agencies etc
  • Stay abreast of the everchanging digital landscape, informing the team of both new platforms as well as changes to existing platform formats/capabilities, to ensure the agency remains a content trailblazer
  • Maintain robust understanding of current and new post production techniques, technologies etc
  • Track fluctuations in production fees and offerings internationally to ensure the agency secures the most competitive prices for its clients
  • Support other accounts with shoot requirements as and when requested/instructed
  • Adhere to company-wide requirements in terms of expense reconciliation, timesheeting, all-agency meets etc
