Growth Manager – Disruptive Fin Tech

The client is looking for a high performing, experienced customer acquisition specialist to take their UK B2C customer base from several thousand to tens of thousands and beyond, with the only retail bank account in the world designed to protect and benefit the customer, not the bank.

This is a rare and exciting challenge with a true disruptor in the mainstream money and banking space. The successful candidate will work with the CEO to gain traction in the UK market, as the marketing team concurrently builds brand awareness as a category leader through social media campaigns, digital marketing, PR, affiliates and influencer marketing.

  • Working with the CEO and marketing team, take a leadership role over customer acquisition. You will help drive the organic and paid traffic, generate leads and convert to customers.
  • Increase customer acquisition and conversion via digital media channel.
  • Develop partnership marketing opportunities.
  • As part of this, developing ongoing relationships with both influencers and online
    commentators will be a key focus along with targeting existing customers to increase
    rates of referral.
  • Other things you will be asked to collaborate on include: in-app communications,
    website and marketing performance data and metric analysis, building customer activation and retention, and other forms of digital marketing such as PPC, SEO, ASO, Google UAC and display etc.
  • They are growing rapidly, but remain a small company in which teams are required to contribute to many aspects of their roles and wider business. The rate of change is fast and the role may require other work undertaken and sometimes at a short notice. A key part of this role will be to help recruit and shape the sales & marketing team moving forward.

Your profile:

You are likely to be educated to degree level or equivalent, with excellent communication skills and possess the ability to ‘get things done’ in a flexible, dynamic organisation.

  • 3 Yrs+ in a similar role.
  • Results-oriented and high performance with the ability to build relationships with people at different levels.
  • Strong copywriting skills to attract and convert consumers
  • Strong data management and analysis experience, and the ability to use multiple
    programs to obtain necessary data (even if they are new to you)
  • A passion for delivering high-quality customer connections
  • Experience (or a passion for) working in team-oriented, fast-paced, start-up
  • Good organisational, written and verbal communication skills, with experience
    working to tight deadlines
  • Excellent analytical and time management skills and the ability to work effectively with a sense of urgency.
  • Pragmatic approach to problem-solving – you are hands-on and like to get on with things, and are comfortable finding solutions
  • Comfortable interfacing between technical and non-technical teams
  • Thoughtful systematic approach and demonstrable experience in delivering against
    milestones, KPI’s and strategies
