A unique and extremely responsible role working with the most influential thought leaders in the World.
Due to this clients continued expansion, they are looking to appoint a senior Business Development Manager for their Corporate Team, focusing on Global / Fortune 500 and FTSE 100 companies. Joining a growing and successful company, this new position will be responsible for commercially developing relationships both with C-Suite prospects themselves and senior HR and L&D executives, for whom my client forms an important part of their executive development programmes.
They are looking for:
A senior business development professional used to establishing and building out long term relationships with key clients, most likely large organisations with complex challenges. With a genuine interest in business, you will be intellectually curious, have the gravitas to speak credibly at the C-Suite level within large corporates and have a strong work ethic. Their own background can include large or small companies, but it is likely they will have a strong track record in relatively sophisticated high value people-based solutions rather than a lower volume product based one. They will be used to quarterly / annual targets, with a consultative sales approach where they are able to leverage relationships to develop and increase key account penetration, rather than hitting targets through high volume transactions across many marketplaces.
The Company:
As Europe’s only Membership organisation exclusively for Directors and board reports, they support the development of both individual high performance leaders, and high performance leadership teams. Their 600+ Membership are exclusively senior and include: 45% at Group or Divisional CEO level; the largest global corporates through to fast-growth specialists; FTSE 100 & 250 Chairmen/Group CEOs; a former BBC Chairman; 18 Deans (inc. Cass, IMD, INSEAD, Tuck); and 11 of the Thinkers50 world’s top business academics.
They are able to leverage their unparalleled access to UK, European and international boards, as well as the exceptional breadth of experienced leadership talent directly within their Community, to gain unique insight and understanding into the challenges faced by companies’ leadership teams and, by incorporating these insights into their corporate programmes, are able also to support the development of high performance leadership teams. Doubling in size every three years, this client holds a unique position in the marketplace and is an exciting place to be.
They are subsequently looking for a number of experienced, talented business development professionals able to support this growth and who want to continue this exciting journey with them.
