This global market-leading content agency is looking for an Ad Manager for arguably Britain’s leading Pharmacy-led health and beauty retail client. The content including magazines, email, online, and e-zines for it’s customers. Together, they provide customers with authoritative, fun and trusted features, advice and special offers.
As the Ad Manager you are primarily accountable for ensuring the team over achieve on every budget line linked to this project.
This is primarily a man-management and sales role. You are accountable for delivering sales objectives through successful leadership and management of your team, demonstrating outstanding commercial acumen, personal sales skills and communication skills.
Your key external relationships should encompass both senior advertiser (media agency, client direct etc) and the client at category, partnership marketing and within the publications team.
Your key internal relationship is with your direct reports (the sales team), to guide, motivate and encourage through hands-on leadership and personal example. Coaching, mentoring and setting objectives for the team on a micro level will be in order to enable them to achieve, is a key function.
Your key internal relationships with other departments should encompass both editorial and account management staff internally plus production department.
