Account Director. This global independent Mobile ad network, serving over 90 BN global impressions per month seeks an Account Director for their central London office.Backed by large investment, they are looking to advance their position to cover over 150 markets around the globe. With an expected 65%+ of the UK population forecast to own a smartphone in the next 12 months, this client are well positioned to capitalize on the growing media investment into mobile marketing from Digital agencies. Role Purpose Reporting to the Head of Mobile Ad Sales, the Account Director is responsible for devising and executing against a strategy to achieve and exceed the revenue target and other associated KPI’s from Mobile Ad sales across a portfolio of Mobile products, namely: Mobile Rich Media advertising Mobile Brand-Performance advertising The role requires management and implementation of the sales process for the company within the UK Advertising Industry across designated agencies at a senior level. The AD will leverage existing and create new relationships across the agency patch and position them as a leader in the mobile advertising industry through campaign ad effectiveness, education, and commercial acumen at all levels throughout the agency.
Team/Department Mission: 1) To achieve industry-leading profitability through excellent customer relationships and market leadership. Deliver the agreed monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets from agency accounts. 2) 100% sell through rate of inventory 3) Develop rich media ad sales opportunities and grow brand performance ad campaigns.
Business Performance: Deliver the agreed monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets from allocated clients and engage all senior digital/mobile stakeholders. Prospect and develop new sales opportunities as well as building on existing relationships to develop the agency media investment. Exact sales pipeline management with SalesForce. Act as mobile advertising leader and evangelist for the company in the UK industry. Drive revenue generation, reviewing and analyzing performance, driving actions for improvement, and implementing efficient and productivity enhancing tools and processes. Provide accurate and regular forecasts and business updates to the Head of Sales for the designated client base, utilizing SalesForce and internal tools. Developing Relationships: Existing KEY senior relationships are to be leveraged within Group M to generate new trading deal opportunities, new client exposure and develop commercial tactics. New relationships to be created and evolved to support ad revenue generation at all levels. The candidate is required to have existing relationships with senior decision maker levels. Key Success Criteria: Deliver against all KPIs outlined above; Revenue Generation, Forecasting Accuracy, Customer Satisfaction, Reach and exceed Group sales goals and yield targets Develop excellent customer/partner satisfaction whilst maximising yield, aiming to achieve advocacy amongst all contacts, in all areas of your client business Create and maintain accurate and up to date Account and Opportunity plans Maintain an accurate forecast (+/- 5%) and healthy pipeline of opportunities Drive powerful PR and case studies based on success with the customer.
Essential Experience: Exceptionally strong agency senior contacts vital. Proven Sales experience within media sales environment; New Media experience preferably. Experience in leading complex, executive-level relationships / engagements through the entire sales cycle. Proven experience in successfully building and growing senior digital advertising sales revenue, ideally in senior sales or business development roles Able to act as a strong ambassador for the company within the industry, educating and convincing clients about the benefits of mobile advertising as a new media. Ambitious and ability to open up trading discussions and set up broader commercial meetings at a Group level.
